18-year-old Spaniard Marie Boya is switching to Formula 3, where he will drive for MP Motorsport next season. He made his debut in 2020 in Spanish Formula 4 with this team in open-wheel single-seaters and immediately became vice-champion, having taken three wins that season.
Marie then switched to the European Formula Regional, but at Van Amersfoort Racing he did not achieve much success. Things went better in the second season in this series, first he drove for ART, then in the second half of 2022 he signed a contract with MP Motorsport with a view to moving to Formula 3, and this plan was implemented .
Marie Boya: “It is great to know that this winter I will be preparing for the next big step in my career as I move into F3 with MP Motorsport. It’s good to be able to do it with this team because we’ve worked really well together in 2020 and over the past few months.
I have no doubt that by signing with them for my debut season in F3 I made the right choice and I am already looking forward to competing against the best teams. I am looking forward to the first leg of this championship, which will be held in Bahrain.”
Boya has already driven the MP Motorsport car at September’s F3 testing at Jerez.
