Mick Schumacher has not received a race seat from his Haas team for 2023.
Mick Schumacher will leave Formula 1. Pilot Haas has not received a new contract offer from the team, and therefore will not participate next season.
In the Dutch stable, the son of the legendary Michael Schumacher was preferred over the experienced Nico Hulkenberg, who, together with Kevin Magnussen, will form the team’s duo of pilots for 2023.
It should be noted that other “royal races” teams have already completed their driver composition.
After such news, Mick Schumacher published a post on Instagram, where he expressed his disappointment in this event.
“This will be my last race with Haas. I don’t want to hide the fact that I am very disappointed with the decision not to renew my contract. However, I want to thank Haas and Ferrari for this opportunity. helped me to be mature both technically as well as personally.
And especially when things got harder, I realized how much I love this sport. It was messy at times, but I kept improving, I learned a lot and now I know for sure that I really deserve a place in Formula 1. This subject is anything but closed to me. Failure only makes you stronger.
My fire is burning for Formula 1 and I will fight to get back on the grid,” wrote Schumacher Jr.
