Lewis Hamilton: “In Abu Dhabi, the build-up reappeared, the brakes worked asymmetrically, we lost six-tenths on the straight – like a few weeks ago in Austin.

Braking and rolling are our biggest issues, and high drag is the weak side of this machine. But there are many more complications.

We have downforce, but we need to build a more efficient car. I think everyone on the team knows exactly where we went wrong. I am sure that next season’s car will not have such problems.

I look forward to Tuesday when I will test drive this car for the last time. I don’t fly it anymore. And I will not ask the team in my contract to give me this car.”
