Red Bull Racing has confirmed the third driver’s contract with Daniel Ricciardo for 2023. The Australian driver will work on the team’s simulator, assist with testing and participate in commercial events.
Christian Horner, team principal: “It’s great to have Daniel back in the Red Bull family. He has great talent and a brilliant character. I know all the base personnel are happy to welcome him home.
As a third and test driver, Daniel will give us the opportunity to expand our business by helping with the development of the car. He will bring his experience and knowledge to the team, which is so necessary for success in Formula 1. We are very happy to be working with Daniel again and look forward to everything he brings to the team in 2023.”
