The Porsche Supercup racing series will remain a Formula 1 support race until 2030 – the contract extension was announced on November 25.
The Touring Car Series has been held on Formula 1 race weekends since 1993. In 2023, the Porsche Supercup will take place in eight European stages of the championship: in Imola, Monaco, Spielberg, Silverstone, Hungary, Belgium, Zandvoort and Monza.
Stefano Domenicali, Head of Formula 1: “Porsche has played an important role in Formula 1 race weekends for more than thirty years. I am delighted to continue our long-standing partnership, which will delight fans during the European part of the season.
The contract renewal is another sign of the growth and influence of our platform. Large companies see our potential and the potential of our partners and want to expand the collaboration.”
