Mercedes brought a lot of new products to Barcelona and this weekend they hope to see if the team is moving in the right direction in solving the car build problem…
George Russell: “Of course this weekend is important for us, as are many others. But Rome was not built in a day. It takes time to identify the cause of problems, develop and produce a solution and then put it on the machine.
We don’t have much time to test on the weekends. In Miami we saw the first signs of progress, we understood in which direction we had to go. This weekend will be the second. I think after Spain it will become clear whether we need to keep working on this plan, or if we need another one. It is interesting.
But even if our guesses are correct, it won’t take us straight to the top of the podium, but we’ll get a positive result from the weekend.”
