Lewis made a lively video, for which he risks a fine in Japan

Lewis Hamilton recently shared a very entertaining video on social media of him racing on Japanese highways behind the wheel of the classic Nissan Skyline R34 sports car, which was produced in the late 90s and became very popular with urban drifters.

Because of this, the seven-time world champion actually rented such a car when he was in Japan – to shoot this video and please his fans. Lewis races through the streets and roads to rhythmic music, not observing the local traffic rules too much and breaking the speed limit in any case very seriously.

After that, the rental company, which owns the car, had to distance itself as much as possible from this work, which was otherwise well filmed and edited. A company representative wrote in the comments: “The video was filmed without our permission. Such driving is strictly prohibited.”

In addition to driving fast on public roads, there are of course shots of Lewis turning donuts in the light of streetlights in a parking lot. Underneath this flashy video, he left an also quite provocative caption: “Actually, I only like to drive on the track, but I make exceptions.”

The video has already collected almost two million likes, although public opinion is divided. Someone thinks that Hamilton is wrong in breaking traffic rules abroad – suffice it to say that the speedometer on the Skyline reaches 160 km / h, although the speed limit on Japanese highways is limited to 100 km / h.

And someone writes that you should not exaggerate, because the video turned out to be interesting, bright, and the car remained intact, and its value will only increase now, because the seven-time world champion drove it.

Now we have to say a few words about the car: the fact is that this particular Nissan Skyline was involved in the film adaptation of Tokyo Drift, one of the parts of the famous film franchise The Fast and The Furious. The auction price of the car is not less than $ 250 thousand, but the author of the above comment is probably right – now it becomes even more impressive.

But we have to admit that Hamilton may be in trouble: both Japanese law enforcement agencies and the rental company Omoshiro, from which the car was rented, can file claims against him.
