REC-2022 season results – all the news of Formula 1 2022

On November 26, the award ceremony following the results of the racing season Russian Endurance Challenge-2022 took place in Moscow on the territory of MIKS Karting. The event brought together drivers and team representatives who received original awards made from carbon used in racing cars.

A total of 47 crews and more than 100 drivers in five different classes have competed in the series since the start of the season: CN Pro, CN, GT Pro, GT and GT Light. This year the number of stages has been expanded to four.

The first stage took place in July at Moscow Raceway, the second stage took place in August as part of the Garage Fest festival at the renovated Igora Drive circuit, the third stage took place again in September at the circuit near Moscow, and finally, the last
series was held in October at Sochi Autodrom, where Formula 1 races took place.

Each of the stages took place in a fierce battle for the podium, giving unforgettable emotions to the participants and spectators. A distinctive feature of the “long” races is that the intrigue persists to the end – even in the fourth hour of the last leg’s race, the result was unpredictable, both for the teams fighting among themselves in the class, and for those who fought for leadership in the general classification.
