Athletistic/ Formula 1. “Red Bull” racer Max Verstappen has expressed the opinion that modern Formula 1 cars are not suitable for racing on street tracks.

This season, four Grands Prix took place simultaneously on street circuits: in Monaco, Singapore, Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.

“I don’t like street circuits anymore. And certainly not with the new generation of even bigger and heavier cars. The old cars could still be handled, but now… In Monaco and Singapore, I was very disappointed with the way the new cars handle on the streets. They were too heavy. Street tracks are great for photos, but not for racing,” GPF fans said, quoting Verstappen.
