Trident has confirmed Oliver Goethe’s contract for the 2023 Formula 3 season.
The German-Danish driver has already competed in Formula 3 in Hungary and Spa this year, replacing the injured Hunter Jini at Campos – and scored points in both rounds. In tests after the end of the season, the reigning Euroformula Open champion has already worked with Trident for three days.
Giacomo Ricki, Trident Team Principal: “We are impressed with Oliver’s talent and proud to have him on our team. He made a great series debut last year, had a great run of testing – we welcome a new member of the Trident Motorsport family and are confident we can create a favorable environment for him to develop.”
Oliver Goethe: “I’m really happy to be joining Trident for my first full season in Formula 3. I’ve been working with the team on tests at Jerez – it’s been a great experience.
I have no doubt that we can achieve good results together, I am looking forward to the start of the season. Thanks to my partners and sponsors for their help and support.”
