The Williams team sued ROKiT for more than $32 million.

The Williams team won another lawsuit against ROKiT. On December 1, California Central District Court Judge Christina Sinder ruled that the former title sponsor had indeed defaulted on its obligations and therefore had to pay the team $32.2 million plus legal fees, which amounted to an additional $1 million.

If Williams is far from victories on the Formula 1 circuits, then its cases in court are more successful. In 2021, the team won the first case against ROKiT, which was heard in London and then won in the Central District Court of California, but the defendant’s lawyers appealed, but now the case is finally closed and there is no appeal possible .

It is worth adding that ROKiT continues to sponsor other motorsport categories: last year it supported the AJ Foyt Enterprises team in IndyCar and also partnered Venturi in Formula E for several seasons.
