An unpleasant episode ended the race weekend in Barcelona for Sebastian Vettel. The Catalan edition of El Periodico reported that Sebastian’s bag had been stolen from a car parked in front of the hotel after the race.
Aston Martin racer made an effort to give things back on his own. The bag contained AirPods and Sebastian tracked their location through a special application on his smartphone.
The application showed the location of the headphones, where Vettel went through the city on a scooter. However, Sebastian only found AirPods at the indicated point, which the thieves most likely threw away so that they could not be tracked. Bag and other things Vettel didn’t like.
An Aston Martin spokesperson confirmed the theft and that the driver found the headphones. Sebastian contacted the police, who launched an investigation.
