Former Formula 1 driver Roman Grosjean has signed a contract with the Lamborghini factory team. In 2023, Roman will assist engineers in the development of the LMDh-class hypercar, which will debut in the FIA WEC in 2024.
In addition, Grosjean will drive the factory Iron Lynx team’s Huracan GTE EVO2 next season alongside teammates Mirko Bortolotti and Andrea Caldarelli. As early as January, Roman will compete in the 24 Hours of Daytona race.
Roman Grosjean: “I am thrilled to represent Lamborghini at a time when so many manufacturers are involved in endurance racing. The negotiations, after which I signed the contract, went very quickly: one phone call from the team leader, two or three emails and we agreed on everything.
Lamborghini is a successful brand and I hope we will succeed in the future.”
