The FIA continues to adapt the COVID-19 protocol in line with the changes in the status of the global pandemic. It is proposed to relax the protocol for the 2023 Formula 1 season as follows: visitors who are “not fit to visit” (i.e. people with COVID-19 symptoms or a confirmed COVID-19 infection) will not be admitted to the “high audience density” .
Visitors no longer need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to visit high spectator density areas. The FIA will no longer host test areas on site, but will inform interested parties of their availability.
