Dave Robson, Chief Race Engineer: “The Monaco track requires a special approach to the settings. With the 2022 cars, finding them will be even more difficult, as the bumps and curbs of the city road will require the suspension height to be raised, causing the car to lose some downforce.
Aside from additional steering options and brake cooling, we don’t have any new items or parts to test this weekend, so we can practice finding the mindset and helping riders feel confident. †
Nicholas Latific: “Coming back to Monaco is always exciting. This is a circuit with a rich history and a special status, more unique than any other street circuit we participate in.
This is my second time in Formula 1 in Monaco. I think with new cars and new regulations the task will be even more difficult than last season. But I’m looking forward to this challenge and I hope we have a good weekend.”
Alex Albon: “The race in Monaco is one of the highlights of the season. I live in Monaco myself – three minutes walk from the paddock so it’s easy to get there in the morning.
