“Honestly, I’m much more optimistic and confident than half a season ago.
The last set of races, the pace I had, the tire work, the race pace, qualifying, everything was much smoother, much more competitive and I was back to the level I know I can ride.
I’m back to where I should have been at the start of the year, and that clearly gives me optimism. I have also finally adapted to the new technical regulations, and whatever type of car appears next year, I am ready to drive it,” said Carlos Sainz.
