Ferrari has announced the appointment of Frédéric Vasseur as CEO and team leader of Formula 1. The French specialist succeeds Mattia Binotto and will take up his duties from January 9, 2023.
Ferrari is the third Formula 1 team led by Frédéric Vasseur. In 2016 he headed Renault and since 2017 he has held a similar position at Sauber Motorsport, which now operates under the name Alfa Romeo Racing. In the youth GP2 series, as part of Vasseur’s ART GP team, Nico Rosberg won the title in 2005 and Lewis Hamilton in 2006.
