McLaren Racing has announced the signing of a multi-year contract with Cadence Design Systems Inc., one of the leaders in the development of computer aided design software. The American company will receive the status of official technology partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team.
McLaren will use Cadence Fidelity software to analyze data obtained using CFD technologies. In addition, Cadence products will help the team optimize the process for creating new designs that require the highest level of accuracy.
Cadence logos appear on MCL36 cars from the Monaco Grand Prix. To mark the start of this partnership, the company’s advertising will also be shown on all three cars of the Arrow McLaren SP team during the Indy 500 race.
