In 2023, Formula 1 is scheduled to hold 23 stages – the season begins March 5 in Bahrain and ends November 26 in Abu Dhabi.
The season includes six stages with qualifying on Friday and sprint on Saturday – in Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Qatar, USA (Austin) and Brazil.
Separately, it is worth highlighting the Las Vegas Grand Prix – the stage on the city circuit is at night, the first and second practice sessions are scheduled for Thursday local time, the third practice and qualifying – on Friday, and the race – on Saturday . However, according to Moscow time, the Vegas race will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, November 19.
All European races of the season start at 3:00 PM local time. The earliest local time to start a race in Canada, Japan, Austin, Mexico City and Brazil is at 2 p.m.
After the FIA abandoned the idea of holding all press events on Friday mornings before the start of free practice sessions during the 2022 season, the start of Friday practice sessions was moved to half an hour earlier at some circuits in 2023.
