Ferrari announced the termination of its partnership with Mick Schumacher, who was a member of the Scuderia Racing Academy for four years.
“Ferrari and Mick Schumacher have jointly decided not to renew their partnership after four years of membership in the Racing Academy,” the Scuderia said in a statement. – Mick joined the Ferrari family in 2019 as part of the Young Drivers Program and competed in Formula 2 with Prema Racing for two seasons as a Racing Academy driver. He won three races and took the title in 2020.
He made his F1 debut with Haas the following year. Mick drove for the team for two seasons, starting in 43 races and scoring 12 points to finish 6th at the Austrian Grand Prix and 8th at the British Grand Prix this year. In addition, he served as a reserve driver for Ferrari in the 2022 season.
