Australian Grand Prix organizers have extended deal with ‘Formula 1’ for another two years, reports age .
At the start of 2022, the parties signed a new contract until 2035. Under the new agreement, the Australian Grand Prix will remain on the F1 calendar until 2037.
At the same time, Australia lost the opportunity to open the season in 2024 as Saudi Arabia won that right – a deal was struck to stage the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix before the start of Ramadan. Thus, the 2024 season can start at the very beginning of March.
