Robert Schwartzman hopes he has been able to remind everyone of themselves

Robert Schwartzman hopes that the work in training and testing behind the wheel of a Ferrari car at the end of the season has not gone unnoticed, and this gives us hope for future collaboration with other teams.

In 2021, Robert became vice-champion of Formula 2 with the Prema team, while he is a long-time member of the Ferrari Racing Academy and has a reputation of being quite a strong professional, making him one of the Scuderia’s test drivers.

“I hope that participating in the tests and the results I’ve shown will somehow work,” Schwartzman quoted Racer. “I hope this at least reminds everyone in motorsport that I am still here and have not lost my skills.

The work I did at Ferrari, even if it was a simulator job, helped me become a more mature professional and prepare myself for driving on a real track. If someone started forgetting me, then I reminded myself, I knock on their door and say I’m still here.

In general, this gives me a fighting spirit, I am very satisfied with the results I have shown in tests and in training. Although there weren’t many such opportunities this year, I was able to show what I’m capable of.

Of course I still have a lot to learn and a lot to do, but you always have to be able to highlight the positives and they lie in the fact that I really worked hard this year and together with the specialists on the simulator we made a big contribution to fine-tuning the machine. My relationship with the team has become closer and that is also a plus. But still I want to return to racing, this is my main task for the coming year…

Right now, I’m mostly focused on continuing to work, focused on what I’ve been doing most of my life, and I’ll try to enjoy it as much as I can.
