The organizers of the Race of Champions continue to expand the list of participants in the competition, which will be held in the Swedish town of Pite-Havsbad from January 28-29, 2023 on a makeshift track built over the frozen Baltic Sea.
Mick Schumacher’s participation in the Race of Champions was announced today. The Mercedes reserve driver will compete in the individual competition and will represent the German team in the Nations Cup standings alongside Sebastian Vettel.
Mick Schumacher: “It’s great to be back in the Race of Champions and see all the participants again. In fact, Sebastian will also start and we will compete for the title in the Nations Cup as part of the German team. I look forward to racing on the ice again and spending some time battling big racers.”
In addition to Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, Valtteri Bottas, Mika Hakkinen, Peter and Oliver Solberg, Johan Kristofferson have also been announced for the 2023 Race of Champions. Jamie Chadwick, Tom Christensen, David Coulthard, Felix Rosenquist, Thierry Neuville and Felipe Drugovich.
