Alpine F1 reserve driver Oscar Piastri will today drive the Alpine A110 Sastruga through the streets of Monaco, developed by Alpine Cars together with the Formula 1 team and the art group Obvious, which creates works of art using neural networks.
The name and color of the car are associated with the term “sastruga” – the formation of snow relief with the help of wind.
Laurent RossicAlpine CEO: “This weekend we celebrate the 100th birthday of [создателя бренда Alpine] Jean Redele, and we are delighted that this particular piece of art will be driving for the first time on the Formula 1 circuit in Monaco, where everyone shares an incredible passion for motorsport, like our founder.
We at Alpine share the same attitude to art and innovation as Obvious. For Alpine, art is the perfect meeting place for elegance and technology.”
