Kimi Raikkonen is one of the most talented drivers of his generation. Because of Finn’s 21 wins and the title of world champion in 2007. Ralf Schumacher, one of Kimi’s rivals, believes Raikkonen could have won more titles if he had shown more sporting discipline over the years.
Ralf Schumacher: “In those years when I participated, there were fewer races in Formula 1 than now, but at the end of my career I felt that even so many races was too much. Remember, a driver’s whole life is built around Formula 1 – you wake up in the morning thinking only about your job, you go to bed at night still thinking about your job. There is practically no time left for personal life.
In addition, my brother Michael has taken physical training to a level never seen before. With that in mind, Kimi Raikkonen had to have mega talent despite his carefree lifestyle to clinch the title.
But he only managed to win the title once, but he thought it was enough. If Kimi had been more disciplined, he would have achieved much more.”
