Former Formula 1 driver Roman Grosjean believes Ferrari will fight for the championship title in the 2023 season, given the mistakes made.
Roman Grosjean: “After the first three races it was crazy to think that Ferrari and Charles Leclerc would not win the title. However, the season ended with Charles and the team narrowly holding onto second place. When you lead the championship with 45 or 65 points ahead of Max Verstappen and finish behind him, it hurts.
I believe Ferrari will be strong next year. Their car was very fast in qualifying and Charles did a great job, although he made a few mistakes. However, mistakes are inevitable in closing the gap. It’s much easier to move forward.
However, I am impressed with Charles and I think Ferrari will learn from what happened this year and fight for the title next season.”
