Last October, during the days of the US Grand Prix, the Haas team announced the signing of a new partner, MoneyGram. The American financial company received title sponsor status – in 2023 the team’s full name will sound like MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.
Today, the Haas press office released an updated team logo that retains the usual red and white colors, but now has the MoneyGram symbol engraved into it.
Previously, team leader Günter Steiner said working with MoneyGram would help add: “With this deal, we can hit the budget cap and be on an equal footing with everyone. Of course, top teams can spend more, but I have always said that in the medium and long term, budget constraints will solve the problem that not everyone is able to fight for the podium.
We remain realistic – I will not say that we will fight for wins, but Haas will take the next step forward and will be able to fight with rivals at the same level.
