Mercedes congratulated Hamilton on his birthday

Sir Lewis Hamilton turned 38 today, having driven 16 of them in Formula 1 and in that time racked up 103 victories and seven championship titles.

Of course, the Formula 1 teams congratulate him on his birthday, Mercedes, for example, devoted a whole poster to this event and kept it in purple. Why purple is not entirely clear, but Lewis, who can be considered the main fashionista of the paddock, does not have strict preferences when choosing the color of clothes, sometimes he appears in outfits of similar shades. And sometimes he uses the colors that rock fans associate with Deep Purple in the design of his helmets.

The caption accompanying the poster reads: “Seven-time champion. Kingdom knight. Icon”.

There is no doubt that Hamilton is one of the best drivers in championship history, and while he failed to win a single grand prix last season – incidentally for the first time in his career – it is likely that in 2023 he and the team will bounce back. Mistakes made in the development of the car are taken into account, Mercedes recognized them and the potential of this team cannot be underestimated.

But this will happen after some time, but for now, during the winter season, Lewis can afford to relax and recuperate properly, because he still plans to do a lot.
