Lewis Hamilton put another stamp on his own world map: the seven-time world champion reached Antarctica, where he celebrated his birthday yesterday.
On social networks, the Mercedes racer posted several short videos in which he, as usual, is engaged in morning runs, but against the backdrop of very unusual landscapes – rocky coasts, snow and ice, and penguins and seals also appeared in the picture, which do not require any special paid attention to Lewis attention.
He reached Antarctica, or at least the neighboring South Shetland Islands, from Argentine Patagonia on a comfortable cruise ship with a group of friends, one of whom was, in particular, his old friend, American snowboarder Sean White (by the way, a three-time Olympic champion).
In one of the recent videos, a breathless Lewis on the run says a few sentences about how he’s just happy about these Antarctic adventures, and the impressions he gets are no less strong than from last year’s trip to Africa.
By the way, if you are interested, in those parts where Hamilton is now, it is clearly warmer than in Moscow – temperatures are kept around zero there.
