If you manage to balance on this edge, you will be able to squeeze more out of the car. Towards the end of the season, the RB18 already suited Max’s preferences better, and he could add to that. It was then that the quarrel began between him and Sergio Perez, his partner.
This is the classic style of driving, where the rider brakes aggressively, then gently reduces braking force and turns at the right time. This allows you to regain about five tenths, but at the same time you have to balance on the edge.
