Max Verstappen explained in an interview with the Dutch newspaper De Limburger why he and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet have different attitudes towards social networks and use them differently.
“I don’t feel the need to show my private life to the whole world,” said the two-time world champion. “Kelly is already doing a lot less than before. If I ever say goodbye to Formula 1, I don’t think I will actively use social networks afterwards. I just don’t like it.
Some people don’t do anything else at all, and I have a lot of other things to do. For example, I talk a lot on the phone, but it’s mainly about my e-racing team. Such a project takes time, but since I have a passion for it, I find it very interesting to do it.”
The last post on Verstappen’s personal pages on social networks dates back to January 1, in which the Red Bull Racing driver congratulated fans on the New Year, and there was a photo of him vacationing somewhere in the warmer climates in the company of Kelly and their friends. And three weeks earlier, Max shared photos taken in Milton Keynes at Red Bull Racing’s December show.
