In 2023, the Ferrari works team will compete in the LMH class in the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship. Today, the Scuderia press office announced the composition of the two teams that will drive the Ferrari 499P hypercar.
The number 50 crew consists of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Niklas Nielsen. Crew number 51: Alessandro Pierre Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, who will combine endurance racing with a role as reserve driver for Team Ferrari in Formula 1.
Antonio Giovinazzi: “The debut of the Ferrari P499 will be a milestone in Ferrari history. I am honored to be a part of this moment. We know we have a huge responsibility, but we understand our strength and are ready for a serious test.
The debut of the Ferrari P499 will take place at the beginning of March in Sebring, USA, where the new FIA WEC season will start.
