Late last year, Esteban Ocon answered fan questions on a variety of topics, including non-motorsport related topics. The interview with the alpine rider consisted of two parts – the second appeared after the holiday.
Q: With which Formula 1 driver would you go on holiday for two weeks?
Esteban Ocon: I have two good friends in the paddock – Mick Schumacher and Lance Stroll. We often spent time together away from the racetracks, so I vacationed with them.
Question: In which race series, besides Formula 1, would you like to participate?
Esteban Ocon: Good question! I really like cars, motorsport in general. I would probably try myself in the World Rallycross Championship. Maybe I’ll do it in the future.
Question: In which sport could you succeed besides Formula 1?
Esteban Ocon: I think I would have done a lot in motocross if I had trained properly.
Q: Whose concert would you like to go to?
Esteban Ocon: I would go to the French rapper PLK. I had dinner with him in Montreal and now I want to attend his concert.
Question: What is your favorite French movie?
Esteban Ocon: The first part of “Taxi”. Check it out, it’s a cool movie.
Q: Which do you choose: third place at home or victory in the last race of the season?
Esteban Ocon: First place is much better than third, and it doesn’t matter on which track it is achieved. So I will definitely choose to win.
Q: What is your favorite place?
Esteban Ocon: Normandy! My family is there, my friends are there. I like coming to Normandy and spending time with my loved ones.
