Last week, Andretti Global and Cadillac announced they would soon be applying to F1, but Cadillac VP Rory Harvey admits there is still a long way to go before success…
Rory Harvey: “We believe that the partnership between Andretti, General Motors and Cadillac offers very good prospects. We would not have announced an offer if we were not sure that our proposal met all the requirements and would allow us to succeed. But there is still a very long way to go before that happens.
The objectives of the parties and the details of the proposal have not yet been made public – this will be the next step, after which we will see how it develops. I don’t want to comment on the notes that have appeared in the press, but I’m sure we mean it very much and will do everything we can to tell the world what we think we can bring to Formula 1.
