Mohammed bin Sulayem first commented on the personnel changes in the Ferrari leadership. The FIA president believes that the Scuderia made the right decision to end the partnership with Mattia Binotto and invite Frederic Vasseur instead.
“I believe the decision was made based on the results of the team,” Mohammed bin Sulayem shared his opinion during the Dakar. “I think they did the right thing. When Ferrari won, representatives from different countries worked in the team. It’s not that the French or the Germans are better than the Italians, but that the right person is at the head of the team .
Even if all teams use the same engines and cars, one champion will still be there. Only Ferrari knows if they have the ingredients to win. They have already become champions and it is only a matter of time before Ferrari wins again.”
