At the Red Bull Racing presentation in New York, the team announced a competition for fans – anyone can come up with an RB19 livery that the team will use at three US races of the season in Miami, Austin and Las Vegas.
For the creative freedom of the fans, not the whole car is available, only the side pontoons and end plates. The team pays the race winner a trip to the Grand Prix, accommodation and a visit to the pits.
As an example of creativity, Red Bull Racing showed the livery of artist Mr Doodle’s RB14 car. At the end of the year, the show car will be auctioned in a special color scheme and the proceeds will go to the Wings for Life Foundation.
“We are offering the car for auction, which opens today,” said Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner. Every penny received goes to charity. The car would look great in someone’s living room or on the wall.”
