The FIA officially confirmed on Friday that six power plant suppliers have signed the relevant documents and committed to compete in Formula 1 from 2026 to 2030.
Alpine Racing, Audi, Ferrari SpA, Honda Racing Corporation, Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd and Red Bull Ford will manufacture and supply next-generation powertrains for Formula 1 teams. With that, the controversy over the regulations for new power plants between Ferrari and the FIA is a thing of the past.
