The Aston Martin F1 Team has announced the signing of a sponsorship deal with Citygroup, a continuation of Fernando Alonso’s longstanding business partnership with one of America’s largest banks.
Working with the two-time world champions since 2016, City will sponsor the British team this season, displaying their logos on Aston Martin cars.
Jefferson Slack, Commercial Director of Aston Martin F1: “We are delighted to be working with City, it will bring new energy to the team fighting for a higher position in Formula 1.
The City contract is the most recent addition to our portfolio of sponsorship deals and we stand ready to support the bank in its efforts to strengthen community ties. He has a long-standing business relationship with Fernando, which is a perfect complement to our new contract, and we intend to develop a joint action program to drive this positive change.”
