Fallows: Work on AMR23 continues until the last moment

The presentation of the new Aston Martin car is only two days away, but according to Dan Fallows, the team’s technical director, he and his engineers will work with the AMR23 until the last minute.

Dan Fallows: “There are only a few days left in which the process of building the car continues, and of course the most important moment is approaching. So far everything is running smoothly, although we had one or two problems, but we managed to solve them.

It is true, of course, that this only adds to the pressure everyone feels, because it was important not to get out of schedule. In addition, at this stage we are very much looking forward to when the body panels will be finished, as we still need to ensure that all key components have passed the most thorough check. This is very important.

Unfortunately, we have to admit that work on the car will continue literally until the last moment – this is the reality at this stage of preparation for the season. We tried to delay the release of all our developments as much as possible so that designers could work on them until the last minute.

So the time remaining until the car is ready for the presentation is calculated not only in hours, but even in minutes. So we’re putting the finishing touches on this weekend and our schedule will be incredibly busy for the next few days. However, we are looking forward to this period, everyone is excited and I can’t wait to see the new car in fully assembled condition and present it to the world. It will be an incredible moment!”
