The AphaTauri team in New York unveiled the livery of the new car while the eponymous youth apparel brand showed off its Fall-Winter 2023 collection. The Lincoln Center was chosen as the venue for the presentation and it was decided to coincide the event with the New York Fashion Week.
A press release accompanying the presentation emphasizes that 2023 in America will be “a crucial year for both Formula 1 and fashion brand AlphaTauri, as a third American race enters the championship calendar and AlphaTauri enters the market for the first time.”
French toast, Team boss: “As you know, Formula 1 has grown in popularity in recent years thanks to Netflix and social media. So it’s critical that we expand our footprint in the US market, and I’m pleased that we were able to showcase our car colors in New York to show our appreciation to the American public.
It is also great that AlphaTauri was able to present their new collection, as the brand will be selling its clothing in America for the first time this year.”
Yuuki Tsunoda: “I had a lot of fun in New York this week and it was great to be a part of today’s events. It is great that this city has been chosen to showcase the clothing collection and to showcase our new car livery in 2023. The classic AlphaTauri colors on the car look great next to the new clothes and I can’t wait to try both this year!”
Nick DeVries: “I had the pleasure of attending my first event as an AplhaTauri rider. The chance to represent this brand at New York Fashion Week was an unforgettable moment for me and I really got to know what the brand is.
The livery of the car looks great and I want to see the AT04 on the track as soon as possible.”
