Aston Martin team principal Mike Krak believes the problem raised by Red Bull about borrowing their technical solutions has been resolved – you need to focus on getting better results.
Mike Krak: “I didn’t expect Formula 1 to be easy. I’m not naive, I understood that this is an aggressive environment, but I’m still smiling, so everything is fine.
I think the investigation that Red Bull has started will lead nowhere. We haven’t done anything wrong. They have to focus on the battle for the title and we focus on ourselves. On the other hand, if they talk about you, you’re still alive. Accusations or attacks always have a reason. I consider the attention of such a strong team a compliment.
It’s not even a third of the season. Mathematically, we have a shot at the title! (laughs) We don’t give up and we don’t give up the fight.
We have good people, we just changed the concept of the car, which shows how well the team is able to analyze the situation and react to it. And I will be surprised if we finish the season in the positions we have now.”
