Aston Martin drives AMR23 at Silverstone

Today at Silverstone, the Aston Martin team will be driving the AMR23, their new car, for the first time as part of the official day of shooting, when Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso can cover up to 100km together.

On Monday the team presented the AMR23 and today the drivers get a first impression of the car’s behavior: in the morning it was brought onto the track by a Canadian and in the afternoon it was replaced by Alonso. The main task that the team solves in this case is, of course, to monitor the performance of all nodes, assemblies and systems.

At the same place, in Silverstone, the W14, which was presented a few hours ago, is also being tested by Mercedes. The weather in general contributes to normal work on the track: temperatures during the day reached +13 with partly cloudy skies, and the February sun occasionally peeked through the clouds, so the frames of future commercials for both teams are quite promising to be clear.
