Ferrari spent a day filming in Fiorano

On Wednesday, the Ferrari team held an official filming day at the factory test track in Fiorano as planned. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz continued to master the F-23, a new car made in Maranello, which was presented yesterday, and today they drove 100 km for two – this is the maximum mileage allowed for this type of event.

The length of the circuit in Fiorano is 2,997 km, that is, 33 laps respectively, and the Scuderia racers divided it almost evenly. Considering that Carlos completed 3 laps yesterday and Charles only two, they “finally got their revenge” today: the Monegask scored 17 laps and his partner completed one lap less.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Scuderia has only one finished car at its disposal and assembly of the second will be completed just before testing in Bahrain.

Yesterday about five hundred tifosi were invited for the presentation, which took place there, in Fiorano, today the fans were not allowed on the track, but everyone who wanted to gathered on the other side of the fence. No one thought of chasing them off, so the racers gave the crowd some time and not only handed out autographs, but also red Ferrari baseball caps.

Preparations for pre-season testing are entering the final phase and on February 23 in Bahrain, the teams will really get to work with their new cars. The first race of the season will be held on March 5 at the BIC (Bahrain International Circuit) circuit in Sakhir.
