The Alpine Academy has confirmed the list of participants

The Alpine Academy has confirmed the lineup for 2023. The French team’s youth racing program includes eight riders: Jack Duane, Victor Martin, Nikola Tzolov, Gabriele Mini, Matheus Ferreira, Abby Pulling, Aiden Neath and Kin Nakamura.

Compared to last season, the number of participants has doubled. Last year’s Alpine Academy participants were Jack Duhan and Victor Marten, who will continue their careers in Formula 2 in 2023. Two other former participants, Chao Collet and Olly Caldwell, retain ties to Alpine but will no longer be participants at the Academy. Caldwell is now linked to the factory Alpine team in the FIA WEC, while Collet will continue to drive in Formula 3.

Alpine Academy recruits Nicola Zolov and Gabriele Mini will make their debut season in Formula 3. Matheus Ferreira will make his Italian Formula 4 debut, Abby Pulling will join the Women’s F1 Academy and Kin Nakamura will continue his career in European karting. Aiden Neath’s plans will be announced later.

David Brivio, Alpine Racing Project Manager: “I am honored to be part of the Alpine Academy. I think we have a very exciting 2023 ahead of us. Eight of our riders will compete in different series and they all have big ambitions and high goals. Every year we watch our riders grow and mature both on and off the track.

In 2023, our main focus is to give our riders the opportunity to gain experience. We will work closely with the Alpine Endurance Team and the Formula 1 Team to help our drivers adapt, learn and improve. This is a great moment for all the Academy participants – let’s see what this year will bring.”
