Aston Martin rider Lance Stroll crashes while training on a bike in Spain, suffers minor injuries and will miss pre-season testing
The team writes that Lance should get well soon. His willingness to get back behind the wheel will be assessed daily and the team will provide an update ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Everyone at Aston Martin wishes the Canadian a speedy recovery.
Lance Stroll: “There was an accident while cycling in preparation for the season. I want to get back behind the wheel as soon as possible and I look forward to the next season with the team. I am motivated to recover as soon as possible after this setback.”
His new team-mate Fernando Alonso also had an accident while cycling in Spain before the start of the 2021 season, undergoing surgery and missing the presentation of the new car, but recovered by the start of winter testing.
