Two-time world champion Max Verstappen has revealed the design of the helmet he will wear for the 2023 season.
The livery is based on the lion motifs and the Red Bull logo, but more white, red and blue have been added in reference to the Dutch flag. An image of two stars appeared on the back of the helmet – according to the number of titles in Formula 1.
“A new season is coming, so I present a new helmet coloring,” said Max Verstappen in a video posted on social networks. As you can see there are some minor changes compared to last year. There are more reds and blues on the sides of the helmet, and overall I decided to make the design more “old school” with little lines but no glitter and stuff. Such a return to basics.
The helmet looks good, I like the colors and also a small update on the back with a second star. I hope to increase the star rating in the future, but for now I’m happy with what I have. I hope you liked it. I am satisfied with the result of the work and I hope that with this helmet I will be fast.”
