Team Mercedes has named seven members of its youth program for the 2023 season. It included four young kart drivers and three “formula” series participants.
England’s Kenzo Craig, China’s Yangpu Chi, Spain’s Luna Fluxa and Florida native Alex Powell will represent Mercedes in karting.
Three other participants in the Mercedes youth program are Danish Frederik Vesti (Formula 2), Estonian Paul Aron (Formula 3) and Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Formula Regional).
Toto Wolff, Team boss Mercedes: “We are interested in how our young drivers will evolve this season. We have delivered some outstanding achievements in 2022 and will continue to support their development. Encouraging results include Kimi’s recent title in the Middle East Regional Formula.
All our young riders are at different but exciting stages in their careers. I am sure that the participants in the program will have another positive year.”
