Max Verstappen will be the first to drive the RB19 tomorrow in Bahrain. The world champion said he feels no pressure and is ready to go…
Max Verstappen: “I am relaxed before the start of the season and I feel great. On vacation, I rested, trained – and now I’m in great shape.
Tests this year are very short. I hope we can avoid problems these days, it is now important that all sessions run smoothly.
The team worked hard on the new car over the winter, hopefully the RB19 will let us fight for the lead, but time will tell.”
Sergio Perez: “I’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the RB19. I am in good shape and ready to start the season – this is my 13th year in Formula 1.
Only during testing can we really make serious changes to the design of the machine and explore different options for settings. I’m happy that everything is starting again, I want to have fun and have my best season.”
