Logan Sargent: What a day!

Logan Sargent completed a full day of testing with a Williams FW45, completing 154 laps, which is over 830km. It is safe to say that he has now perfectly learned the circuit and has a good understanding of the characteristics of the car’s behavior.

The team calculated that its American debutant has driven more kilometers today than separates the Bahrain circuit from the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Logan Sargent: “This is the Day! I did 154 laps and I’m still not over it. I’ve never done so many miles in one day and was pretty tired, but Friday was great. I was able to handle all the physical activities.

We’ve done short sets of circles with a small fuel load, as well as full tanks, and I think we’ve made very good progress. In general, we are more or less satisfied with the behavior of the machine.

I feel ready for my debut race weekend and am already looking forward to the experience. My job is to continue to work productively with the team and try to improve our car with them. Not all tasks are solved, but let Alex Albon, my partner, take care of this tomorrow.
