Valtteri Bottas has completed Alfa Romeo’s preparations for the 2023 season by completing Saturday morning and afternoon testing sessions in Bahrain. The team lost more than an hour due to technical problems with the car, but the Finn was able to get back on track and show the third fastest time on the softest C5 compound.
Valtteri Bottas: “In general I am happy with how the tests went. The car drove well – this winter my cockpit feeling has changed for the better. Today we were able to do a lot of laps, although we lost some time due to technical problems. Thanks to the mechanics, I returned to the track relatively quickly and completed the entire program planned for the last day.
I am grateful to everyone for the hard work on the track and in the base in Hinwil. Now I’m looking forward to getting back on track next week to feel the racing spirit again.”
